"We shall grant them the gifts of Nurgle. Bring them rot and decay!", shouted Lord Mortis when his forces were in formation to march upon the Space Wolves. But they were not unprepared. Able to organize a counter-attack, they would hold their position or die trying. Long Fangs prepared their missile launchers, drop-pods were requested from orbit and the Rune-Priests prepared themselves mentally to attune them to the warp-energies.
The first drop-pod arrived and armed with Melta weaponry, they charged towards the dreaded Forgefiend. A few shots were enough to penetrate the monstrosity and shatter it to pieces. The second drop-pod was aimed to block the spearhead charge of the Death Guard. A barrage of missiles sufficed to cause enough damage to Lord Mortis and the spawns, but the lord was still standing. Unloading a troop of Plague Marines to capture and hold the Objective, the last drop-pod arrived to charge Lord Mortis and his personal spawn guard. The lord was able to defeat the sergeant and was rewarded by Chaos with an upgrade to his Burning Brand of Skalathrax. The other plague marines disembarked to unleash a volley of bolter fire, plasma and melta, but did not suffice to stop the Grey Hunters. And as such they charged the Plague marines to stop ranged weaponry, but they kept their resilience and stood tough against all attacks. Lord Mortis was able to break free from combat and charged into yet another combat to aid his forces. The Grey Hunters fell and now the Death Guard brought in the all-feared Heldrake as air support. But the Rune-Priest came prepared and bestowed a unit with protective psychic shields. The Baleflamer claimed only one casualty, but the Meteoric descent claimed two lives. The Quad-gun unleashed a hail of shots but not one was able to pierce the Heldrake and the monster continued it's rampage. A missile launcher was able to mortally wound Lord Mortis and destroy the last spawn, but the Long Fangs were the last line of defence. And it did not hold...

Chaos poured forward and struck fear into the hearts of the Space Wolves. Renewed with blessings from the Rot God, Lord Mortis claimed his territory on planet Aurum,
"come, non-believers... Cast away your curse of flesh! Come and feel the grand blessings of Nurgle!"

and so say we all

als de necron dat schrijft is dat altijd waar, want de necron heeft altijd gelijk en als je dat dan niet geloofd moet je het maar eens aan de necron vragen
