Reports from the Ordo Xenos of the Inquisition give credibility to rumours spreading through the imperial fleet of the discovery of strange relics of ancient Xenos technology on the planet Hermelinus Prime. Imperial forces were send to investigate. All contact was lost just after arrival. The final transmission reported Xenos and Traitor forces already in orbit.

Army List Make a 1750 list using one Force Organisation Chart. The use of allies is not allowed (Inquisition may off course use inducted imperial guard or space marine units). We will be using the 5th edition 40k rules. You are allowed to use special characters.
The following codex are allowed: • Space Marines (Codex Space Marines 2008) • Dark Angels (Codex Dark Angels 2007) • Blood Angels (Codex Blood Angels 2010) • Space Wolves (Codex Space Wolves edition 2009) • Black Templars (Codex Black Templars) • Daemonhunters (Codex Daemonhunters) • Witchhunters (Codex Witchhunters) • Imperial Guard (Codex Imperial Guard, edition 2009) • Chaos Space Marines (Codex Chaos Space Marines 2007) • Codex Daemons (2008) • Eldar (Codex Eldar, edition 2006) • Dark Eldar (Codex Dark Eldar 2010) • Ork (Codex Orks 2008) • Tau (Codex Tau Empire) • Tyranids (Codex Tyranids, edition 2009) • Necron (Codex Necron)
Models should follow the WYSIWYG rules. If you deviate from this rule, let your opponent know this before the game.
Game Length After turn 5 roll a d6. On a 3+ the game moves to turn 6. After turn 6 roll a d6. On a 4+ the game moves to turn 7. After turn 7 the game ends automatically. Alternatively the game ends immediately when the tournament judge says that time has elapsed. Players should not begin a new turn if there is insufficient time remaining to complete the turn. Last round will be called 30-45 minutes before the Round’s deadline.
Battle Points Battle points will be used to rank the players between rounds. Based on this ranking, the players will face off in the second and third round.
Difference in battle points 20 Masacre 15 Major Victory 10 Minor Victory 5 Winning / Losing Draw 0 Draw
If a player succeeds in a wipe-out, he automatically gains maximum battle points for all missions. His opponent retains battle points earned prior to the wipe-out.
Round1 Having landed on the planet, your army must quickly secure the landing zone from hostile forces. The race for the relics has started and the competition must be taken out swiftly before they can secure their hold on this planet.
Deployment: Dawn of War. Each player places an objective marker in his own deployment zone, more than 12” from a table side and another objective.
Primary Mission: Hold more scoring troops in your opponents deployment zone than he has in yours. To complete this objective you must have more scoring units in the enemy deployment zone by the end of the battle. If you can achieve this and stop your adversary from doing the same in the process, you earn 24 Battle points for the mission, otherwise you each earn 12.
Secondary Mission: Capture your opponents objective marker while holding your own. To control an objective you must have a scoring unit with at least 1 model within 3” of an uncontested objective marker. A scoring unit may capture multiple objectives if the above criteria are met for each objective. (Scoring: 12 Battle Points if you secured more objectives than your opponent, otherwise each player scores 6)
Tertiary Mission: Kill Points. The player must score at least 5 more kill points than their opponent. A player that starts the battle with less than 10 kill points will yield 2 kill points for each and every of his units that is destroyed. If neither player achieves the objective then it counts as a loss for both players. (Scoring: Win = 9 Battle Points, Loss = 0 Battle Points)
Round2 After the first skirmish on the planet’s surface, it is time to fullfill your mission and seek the hidden relics. You must find the relics before your enemy does and secure them for extraction. If you can take out the enemy’s expedition leader, you might cause enough distraction to find and escape with the relics.
Deployment: Pitched Battle. Before table sides are chose, players alternate setting up 3 objectives (6 total), 1 in each player’s deployment zone and 1 in no-mans land. Objectives must be placed more than 12” from a table side and another objective. Before deployment, each player nominates one independent character or non-vehicle single-model unit as their expedition leader. If a player has no such model in his army, that player cannot win the secondary mission objective (his opponent counts as having killed the expedition leader) and must kill his opponent’s expedition leader to gain a draw.
Primary Mission: Search and secure the lost relics. When an infantry or jump infantry model is placed in contact with an objective, roll a d6 and consult the table below. After two relics are found, remove the other objectives. If no relics have been found while searching the first four objectives, the last two objectives automatically are relics. If only one relic was found searching the first five objectives, the last objective automatically is a relic.
1-2 Booby Trap (the unit searching the objective takes 1d6 S4 AP- hits and the objective is removed from the table) 3-4 False location (the objective is removed from the table) 5-6 Relic found (the objective remains on the table)
To secure a relic objective you must have a scoring unit with at least 1 model within 3” of an uncontested relic objective marker. A scoring unit may capture multiple objectives if the above criteria are met for each objective. (Scoring: 24 Battle Points if you secured more relic objectives than your opponent, otherwise each player scores 12)
Secondary Mission: Kill the expedition leader. (Scoring: 12 Battle Points if you killed your opponent’s expedition leader while keeping your own expedition leader alive, otherwise each player scores 6).
Tertiary Mission: Explored objectives. The player that searches the most objectives wins. If both players searched an equal amount of objectives, then it counts as a loss for both players. (Scoring: Win = 9 Battle Points, Loss = 0 Battle Points)
Round3 Having discovered the relics, you must clear a pickup zone for your extraction from the planet. To prevent your enemy to escape with any relics, you must hinder your opponent in clearing a pickup zone.
Deployment: Spearhead. After determining deployment zones but before deployment, each player secretly notes down another table quarter (Left, Right or Opposite of his own table quarter).
Primary Mission: Control table quarters. A player controls a table quarter if he has at least one unit in that table quarter while his opponent does not have any scoring troops in that table quarter. For each controlled table quarter, a player earns 6 Battle Points.
Secondary Mission: Kill Points. Players gain kill points for destroying enemy units with the exception of scoring troops units (but any dedicated vehicles or attached independent characters do count). The player must score more kill points than their opponent. A player that starts the battle with less than 10 kill points (not including scoring troops units) will yield 2 kill points for each and every of his units that is destroyed. If neither player achieves the objective then it counts as a loss for both players. (Scoring: Win = 12 Battle Points, Loss = 0 Battle Points)
Tertiary Mission: If a player holds the table quarter (see the primary mission) he secretly chose before deployment, that player scores a win. Both players can succeed in this tertiary mission. (Scoring: Win = 9 Battle Points, Loss = 0 Battle Points)
Painting In addition to the battle points, a player can earn up to 15 points for playing with a painted army. Players who finish a battle ahead of time, should present their army to Phillippe. All players should try to let Philippe judge their army before the start of the last round. The painting score shall take into account the following factors : WYSIWYG (2p), Basing (2p), Basecoat (1p), Painting (6p) and Theme (4p).
