Narrative Eventday 1 - The Cellebos Warzone

This eventday will see the Forces of Ruin pitched against the Imperial Crusaders on the planet Vanity.  Both sides will try to get the upper hand so they can protect their supply lines towards their invading forces.

This event requires at least 3 Imperial and 3 Forces of Ruin players and can grow up to 12 players as long as half is Imperial and half Forces of Ruin.  All the battles will be played on Vanity.  Each battle counts as a standard singles or doubles battle for the players involved.

During the day all players will play one game with synchronised rounds.  Players only start another round after the current round is finished on all three tables.  There is one roll for deciding who deploys first and one roll for seize the initiative.  These rolls affect all three tables.  The faction captains will assign players to the tables in secret before the start of the games.

Down in the trenches.  On table 1, the mision will be The Scouring with Hammer and Anvil deployment.  Starting on turn 2, while a team holds more objectives than their opponent on the start of a turn, a warlord belonging to his team on one of the other tables gets an equal number of orbital bombardement in his next shooting phase.  Unused orbital bombardements are lost.  An orbital bombardement has the following profile: Range infinite, S 10, AP 1, Ordance 1, Barrage, Large Blast, Orbital (If an arrow is rolled on the scatter dice, an orbital bombardement always scatters the full 2d6" - the warlord's ballistical skill makes no difference).

Forward Command Centre. On table 2, the mission will be Crusade with Vanguard Strike deployment.  There will be 5 objectives: one in the centre of the table and one in the centre of each table quarter. While a team holds more objectives than their opponent on the start of a turn, their allies on the other tables have +1 on reserve rolls and their allies' opponents have -1 on their reserve rolls.

Behind Enemy Lines. On table 3, the mission will be The Relic with Dawn of War Deployment.  Starting on turn 2, and while you hold the relic, HQ choices of your allies on the other tables are also scoring and contesting.

This eventday will be held at Hermelijn on saturday november 2nd.  We will gather at hermelijn by 10:30 so we can start with deployment at 11:00 at the latest.  After deployment and first round, there will be a scheduled break so we can get something to eat. If one table is slowing down the game for the others, a time limit will be imposed.

There is no additional fee for participating.  If you want to participate, post in this topic (first come, first served).  Make sure you can make it so we don't run into problems if someone has to drop out at the last moment.

I will try to organise a similar eventday on Spite so the taudar players also get their chance to shine (or get slaughtered).

Terribly sorry, maar ik was vergeten dat ik 2 november al aan Nelly beloofd had om zwarte piet te spelen...
I weet dat het dom is, maar ik heb geen ander excuus dan vergeetachtigheid. Ik had dat al eerder beloofd dus ik kan hier helaas niet aan meedoen.

We zoeken dus nog een Forces of Ruin speler ! Wie is beschikbaar om de imperials af te slachten ?

Volgens mij is het idee goed maar zijn er gewoon niet genoeg mensen die die dag kunnen komen.

Ik denk dat november moeilijk gaat worden, volgend weekend Belgian Open, het weekend daarna training day, het weekend daarna Warpstorm...
