After their trials in the depths of the dark city, the kill team has spent a long time in debriefing, purity trials and general recovery, almost to the point they were getting bored. When they receive a summons from the watch captian, they feel this is about to change…
When you arrive in the briefing room, you notice, besides the watch captain, the presence of an unknown astartes, clad in silver grey artificer plate, brandishing a thunder hammer of exquisite craftmanship. The watch captain wastes no time:
Do you remember the thousand son sorcerer who summoned the greater daemon on malice VI? The one who allied with the mad rune priest Omenspeaker? He has been found. Although, I suppose it would be more accurate to say he has come out of hiding. He has attacked an imperial prison world named Arethon, where the imperium detains powerful psykers. It is not hard to guess what a thousand son sorcerer wants with those. What is worse, he has somehow bought the aid of an ork warband and some other type of robot-xenos. Combined all that with his daemonic ally, he is actually winning, despite the garrison being strengthened by a full company of space wolves. They volunteered in hopes of finding vengeance for their brothers killed on Malice VI
However, the inquisition has not been idle, and they have sent us brother-captain Octavius of the grey knights chapter.
The grey knight speaks:
Be warned: This is no mere greater daemon, this is a daemon lord. The last daemon lord to breach into realspace destroyed 3 whole systems, 2 complete astartes chapters and several millions of guardsmen, just by himself. It took the complete grey knights chapter and 5 more space marine chapters to bring him down. This time we have an advantage however. We have learned the true name of the greater daemon, and went through great expense to craft this daemon hammer. It bears all the right runes of banishment to send this daemon lord back to where it came from, the difficult part will be getting within striking distance.
The watch captain continues again:
This is where you come in. You will operate as a commando unit behind enemy lines. Your mission is to find or create an opportunity to bring captain Octavius close enough to land even a single blow. The second part if the mission is to kill the sorcerer, because he has the knowledge to attempt and summon the daemon again. The deathwatch has been chosen for this task because his xenos allies will need to be dealt with, and you have been chosen because you have dealt with this sorcerer before and know what he looks like.
This mission is of alpha level priority, and is likely to be as difficult as it is important. The full resources of the inquisition are at your disposal.
Primary objective: Brother-captain Octavius must be able to strike and banish the daemon lord.

Secondary objective: Deal with the orks
Secondary objective: Deal with the necrons
Jongens, dit is de culmination van 2-3 jaar meesteren en zelf missies uit m’n koker trekken. Al de vorige missies heb ik puzzelstukjes gestrooid, en hier is waar het all together komt. Het zal een lange campaign worden.
Voor deze missie krijgen jullie:
-250 req (you will need it.)
-Mogelijkheid medkits te kopen (20 req), die éénmalig untrained use van medicae toelaten, enkel voor purpose of first aid. Een speler kan er niet meer dan 3 van die dragen.
-Jullie mogen mij elk 2 relics doorgeven dat jullie hopen te vinden tijdens de missie. MAAR er is geen garantie dat jullie het daadwerkelijk gaan vinden. Ik ga er 1 a 3 uitkiezen die ik goed in mijn verhaal kan droppen.
Ik moet dat relic weten ten laatste aan het begin van de eerste sessie, omdat ik het dus ergens in de missie moet schrijven.
